Hi

I have an Amando chilli plant growing indoors in the UK, the chilli pods are about 8 inches long, green with black patches, will they definitely turn red or I am I at the mercy of the weather.

I think only time will tell.  I've been waiting almost a month for this one pod to ripen.  Yet others are turning before it that are not nearly as old.
 
I'm waiting for my ghosts to ripen, too. They got to be bigger, but they are staying green. It is hard to wait for them. I have a friend I plan to share with when they are ready.
