romy6 2013

Well 2012 is old news so time to push onward. It was a great year for me pepperwise. If you did not get a chance to follow me last year and would like to check it out here is the link http://thehotpepper.com/topic/27252-romy6-2012/. It will save me from explaining my grow and being redundant. I am an outdoor grower only from start to finish. I try to keep my aphid /bug colonies to a minimum while batteling the temps as while growing in east central Florida. I plan on growing many other new varieties in a few months so keep an eye out. Until then I wish a great grow for all and look forward to following all of your grows. After fighting off the tequilla hangover this moring I managed to stumble along and pick my first harvest of the new year. Some yellow 7's, yellow scorps, yellw scotch bonnets with a tail, hybrid bhut, not douglah, mystery annums, choc hab , cho bhut bhut and a choc bhut x yellow 7 f3. Winter pods are always a little funky looking IMHO

 Happy New Year

Jamie, what a great place for you and Tebow to enjoy together. Does he stay out of the water at least? Man, that powder looks stupid hot :)

Everything looks great, Jamie. Your plants are really loaded up, that's gonna make a lot of powder :)

Thanks Stefan. I will make sure to send you some more powder when some of these pods ripen. That is if you ain't scared ;)

Woot! Liked that first post for the great vid, the great plant shots, Tebow...and most of all because you quoted Andy's recap of his Brain Strain episode! I get a chuckle watching them all over again because I KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT FEELS!!! The second post because I am jealous! I miss my duty days down in Fl, I would be workin that lake with a soft plastic....Hahahaha....great stuff Jamie, you're about to have a freaking monster season!

Thanks Shanster. I have a feeling you too are gonna be swimming in pods.

that is so beautiful Jamie.. Thanks for sharing. You have no idea how much these pics are a vacay for us in the northeast.

Thank you Pia. I am sure come summer time you can send us some pictures of yet another tropical vacay you and the family have

looking good Romy!! Digging the food porn.!! The landscape of Florida is so much like the Gold Coast in Australia it's scary!

Very cool Trip. I have longed to visit Aussieville. Maybe now i won't have too

Great looking walking route! I am looking forward to seeing some green and life again. Also, that powder has got to be hot, those peppers aint a joke!

Two weeks is a long time to wait too see your wife and baby but I know it will be so joyous when you have them in your arms. I just wish we could all be there thank you for your duty and celebrate through the night :woohoo:

Wonderful pictorial about the typical day at the romy6 estate, love dat river lake walk ... keep dis killa season going brethren!

Thank you Ray ray. Must look alot like your backyard my Florida brother. :drooling:

Nice score on the powder, I think we can get warp 5 with that captain!

+1 on 499!

Scotty for being number 500 you shall recieve some free pods  when they start rolling in. Just remind my slack ass if you see harvest shots and no peppers in your mailbox.

Brother Bill. Tebow is afraid of the water. He looks all big and bad but he just a big baby . The powder will clear your sinuses and burn your butt all in 24 hours . :hell:

And I must say that this website is like no other. So many kind chiliheads giving and receiving. Well Mike barlypop- 57 is one that gives more than he receives. And will get plenty of fresh Florida pods for his kindness. He is the jerky master. Got home today to find some blazing hot jerky that I could not stop eating. Thank you Mike :onfire:

that jerky looks fantastic! nice score! You'll have to tell us how it tastes... This glog is always one to make my stomach grumble.
That lakeside picture of where you and Tebow go for walks, is that the same lake with a gator in it from earlier? Or do all your bodies of water have dangerous things in them? Up here you're safe in the water as long as it's not covered with ice.

That's some gnarly lookin' jerky Jaime! Did Mike say what kind of meat he used? The latest shots of your peppers put me in mind of that Guns N Roses riff "Welcome To The Jungle" Is it that Tebow doesn't like the water, or the Gators in the pond?

Thanks Andy. That indeed is the smae lake. Funny I had not seen that gator since I took that pic. I had assumed the wildlife peeps had come and moved him. But yesterday when Tebow and I were walking he was swimming with a big old bass in his mouth

Now some pod porn!

This was supposed to be a solo shot of my super massive choc hab plant but you know who ( monster brain) had to get in the pic:)

Not yellow brain . Love this plant . Who wouldn't

Choc bhut X yellow 7

Yellow scorp

Mystery looks sorpionish

Not white bhut is healthiest looking plant

Another mystery pumping out fat bumpy naga like pods

first reaper pod looks good

yellow primo is gonna have some nast pods

And my primo plant finally producing some pods

Mmmmm....Jerky! Plants all look so healthy this year! I remember last year's grow looking more spindly and sparsely podded, NOT ANYMORE! Did you trim some of the shade trees? Move the pots? C'mon man, let us know how you grow! Looks like a few ripe ones will fall off that pod train...then BAM its gonna arrive and you'll have bucket loads ripening all at the same time!

Thanks brotha. Really not doing anything different other than staying up on the insects more and less ferts. Go figure:) Plus plants are oder and more tolerant.

It just keeps getting better and better...good work!

Thanks Scotty. Beam me up!

Plants are looking great, big ass monsters! I love those wooden trunks with the green leaves, great contrast :D How's it going with the Jal's, all I've read so far is superhots ;)

Stefan. You know I am all about the chinense but I have a Nice biker billy and a jalamundo growing well. When they start producing I will take some shot my man!!!!

I cannot get over that brain strain tree. Just that branch that photobombed the choc. hab was huge! That's a ton of pods on one spot. Amazing!

I here ya Andy. The choc hab is a good 4 feet tall minus the pot so you can guess how big the monster brain is.

This is for all the mothers

Choco hab full up!

I keep staring at that monster brain... what an amazing plant. Jamie, you are a master grower for sure. I love the bark on it... mesmerizing stuff. Hope you had a good weekend buddy!
