Here is a pink rose bush we have that has been in my wife's family since 1896, it was started back in 1896 by her great grandpa in Winchester, VA...a few people in her family have a portion of the rose bush that they split off the main one years ago and that's how it has kept going...we got this one from her sister who lost her home and was gonna leave it there and were like no way, so I went and dug it up, it was almost winter at that time so I put in 5 gallon bucket and put in my garage...transplanted it back into this spot 2 years ago and it came back...we were nervous .....needless to say I defend this rose bush with all my wit, any type of bug I see on it I destroy on the spot lol
Anyways enjoy..I will post another pic when the bud pops...this is the only 3rd bud of the year, we had a harsh winter so it has been a slow grower this year and I think the transplant a couple years ago took a toll on it ...
