I had a VTX 1800S a while back. HD only wished they made a bike like that. The king of cruisers in my opinion.
 
It's crazy with some of the stuff they get away with on that show but I love the show. Chewi where you at? He eats this show up as well.

Based on my observation from your earlier posts... Honda obviously builds the best motorcycle available.
Is this correct?
I will be in the market for a new bike soon and want to make an informed decision.
 
I started with an R and its been transformed to Pro Street Bagger :)
I destroy everything in HD street line up, up to Stage 3 and the VRods
Yup they all think they are fast LMAO!!,Ive bought 5 HD bikes in my life,my first X changed all that

Of coarse "best" is subjective
Its not all about fastest and that sorta stuff
The VTX line was discontinued in 09,the 02 were a little ruff and Honda squared up the issues and 03-09 had the most reliable Metric's on the road
Pristine bikes with less then 10-15K miles can be had for less then $8K very easily.
Bikes that will run out the other side of 140K miles and keep on running
No-brainer compared to HD $25-$40k and highest cost of ownership
 
:note The VTX 1800 is not a beginners bike,these things are a BEAST and they will get away from you very easily
