Salutations from Virginia!

Hello all!

I've been lurking for a few days, and this place seems to have a helpful and knowledgeable community. It is my first time growing peppers, or much of anything really. I'm starting out with small nursery plants since I decided to try growing so late. I will try sowing seeds next year. My pepper plants consist of Carmen, cubanelle, Thai bird, habanero, and red chile. Only one of each, I plan to expand in the future. Also to attempt more exotic species, maybe even try crossbreeding.

Hope everyone has a great season!

:welcome: from sunny South Florida! :woohoo:

Welcome from SWVA, Peptacular. I'm kind of new here myself. The community has been extraordinarily helpful. I'm doing my first pepper and tomatoes from seed this year. My zone is 6b so I'm a little behind you. Enjoy!

Chills have been persistent this year for sure. Good news though, it held the fruit trees back. Fingers crossed. But the winter, though long, was mild enough to over-winter, scallions, lettuce, spinach, and kale.
