Ok, well I'm tired of having to search for this stuff every time I feel like dropping a link in response to a question about growing. I've only kept them saved in my head but now here's this thread...

Read the article on plants and pot size and I think you can draw some correlations but also feel that there is the point of "diminishing returns" which comes into play.
 
also read the container size link. would be nice to find the actual article and not a BBC news blurb.
would be interesting to mri an airpot or fabric container.
would be interesting to see what kind of media they grew in.
