Score At The Store!

So i was combing through the bell peppers at the grocery store for fajitas tonight, and I saw this big giant guy in the red bell bin.... Here it is next to some regular "stop light" bells.... what is it????

Looks like a Bell crossed with some sort of NuMex to me.
Don't let it loose... those somma biotches are dangerous. 
Chop that thing up, saute it, mix it with the beef and eat it so there is no evidence.

Not to thread jack. But Winn-Dixie isn't found in mine and jkernea's parts any more. As Publix run them out. They' were both based outta Florida at the time they withdrew. Think they still are. Anyways enjoy your supermarket find Phil. Those are rare in these parts.

I'm about 99% positive that is an Ancient Sweet Pepper. THey get huge like that!

I bought something exactly like that from our stores, they call it shepard pepper. Google it, they taste ok

Ancient Sweet would be my guess as well.

I found a huge bag full of these seeds in my house and had no idea. Label says ancient pepper. WIll find out next seaseon!
