Howdy. Ive been growing peppers for a long time but Ive never grown a scotch bonnet. Is there an original one I should start with. Are the original ones red or yellow? This is the year to grow some out. Thanks!

I have never grown any scotch bonnet either and will probably make my next season a scotch bonnet only season
Based on the descriptions and reviews I found I chose to grow following varieties:
Papa Dreadie Scotch Bonnet (Refining Fire Chiles)
Foodarama Yellow Scotch Bonnet (Refining Fire Chiles)
Foodarama Yellow Scotch Bonnet (Semillas La Palma)
Papa Joes Scotch Bonnet (Semillas La Palma)
MOA Scotch Bonnet (Semillas La Palma)
TFM Scotch Bonnet (Refining Fire Chiles)
Thanks guys. Im going to have to try some of those but I think Im going to start this year off with the MOA yellow.

Foodarama, aka Beth Boyd, is one of my top favorites. The pods' structure is just incredible. Plants are furious producers, to, although tbf, most Bonnets are pretty productive. Flavor is great on the yellow Foodarama SBs but not my top favourite.wrinklenuts said:The foodarama looks good too.
What is your top favorite for flavor?Bicycle808 said:Foodarama, aka Beth Boyd, is one of my top favorites. The pods' structure is just incredible. Plants are furious producers, to, although tbf, most Bonnets are pretty productive. Flavor is great on the yellow Foodarama SBs but not my top favourite.
