Second year plant has issues.

This plant started having some problems a few months ago. It has grown out of some of the problems but other parts are still affected by it. The now healthy parts are flowering and setting some trini scorps for me.
I am leaning towards a root issue because it affects the new growth and furthest tips. I have not noticed any root issues though i may be missing something still.

If anyone has some ideas, I would appreciate them.

Hi, Man I think I would just clip and let the leaves regrow. It looks like possible past spidermite issues. IMO...

The plant never had issues last year other than my psycho cat that kept eating it.

All leaves are new this year since i put it in a new pot and trimmed it for bonsai growth. I suppose another trim wouldn't hurt it but i'd like to pin point the issue before doing something unnecessary.

too much water is my guess, when i trimmed my plants back i only watered like once a month

I have this happen on some of my old plants I cut em back and they work through it
