trade seed exchange

hey on /r/hotpeppers we're doing a seed exchange and we figured we'd extend the invite to thp users as well.
 
just send in a packet with seeds. we'll sort them out and exchange then send them back.
 
Why do this vs a train? because this is more secure and everyone will get their seeds back at the same time. no delays / hijacks. For this reason anyone with something to exchange can participate, even newbies! 
 
How to sign up? just fill out the form and you will get an email with address to send the package to.

Nice - have done similar on another forum with Giant Veggie seeds - though a bit different.
 
For that exchange we had about 30 participants (any more and it got hard for everyone to come up with enough packets for everyone) and each sent in 3 or so varieties of seeds ( each variety split into 30 labelled packets and a return shipping label already filled out with the return postage) and  mailed to a central member, that then resorted the seeds so each of the other participants got one set of the varieties from every other member and mailed them back using the included postage and labels.
 
Was always fun receiving the packet back with about 90 different varieties of seeds from 30 other forum members right around new years when starting to plan the next season grow.
 
And agree it worked better than a train as every member got the seeds from every other member at the same time and also got every variety so no one missed something they had wanted if it was in the mix and it still only cost the postage to send and return a single package rather than 30 SASBE's ( + a buck or 2 extra to get a drink or 2 for the member doing the sorting and packing)
