seeds Seedling issues

Hey guys,

Well I've got some reaper, douglah and jonah seedlings indoors under a t5 light. I'm having an issue with the leaves turning purple on my jonahs and reapers...it's strange because the leaves don't fall off or anything...they just stay purple...could it be that the seeds were mislabelled? stress? malnutrition?

I'm sure the experienced guys will be along later but usually purple leaves are feeding related, so maybe worth asking have you fed them, when, how often and with what, and what soil did you give them?
Cheers.

Thanks man, hopefully they do come through.
And I've used black gold seedling mix (it has yucca extract) just peat and perlite pretty much. I've blended it with a little bit of worm castings.
Then I've fed them twice with some compost tea (boogie brew) and trace sea minerals.

Purpling on the leaves of young seedlings is typically an indication of high light intensity. Increase the distance from the lights a few inches and the new growth should come in green.
Jessee beat me to this one, This same thing happened to me last year, I moved the light up a couple of inches and corrected the problem.  It did go away as the plant matured.

Check out my Glog. I dang near killed some of my seedlings with high light intensity. I took and posted a bunch of pictures showing the cause, outcome and fixes. I am growing about 25 different varieties. The primos and reapers were impacted the most. They seem to be less tolerant of intense lighting.

I looked at your glog. Man, it's pretty awesome! Were those led fixtures primarily red or blue spectrum? I've got a 240watt but its mostly for bloom.
I moved the lights up a few inches so they should start and recover hopefully. I'm also hardening off out in the greenhouse now too. 5hours near the sun today. No direct sunlight cause idk how long they need to be hardened off for.
Thank you everyone!
