seeds Seeds from fresh chilis

Hi all-

I have another n00b question. Ordered some fresh brain strain peppers. I'd like to grow some of these, as well. Can I just de-seed one of them and immediately put the seeds in a germination setup? Or is there any special prep for the seeds prior to attempts at germination?

Germinate as you would any seed. That is how you get "volunteers" in your garden fresh peppers fall to the ground and the fresh seed germinates. Same concept.

Sadly I dont get volunteers in my garden, only conscripts!
It gets so wet and cold over here, even the weeds can't survive...

in my experience, fresh seeds have better germination percentage and time.
