Been there....minus the Oompa Loompas, Easter bunnies, sparkling underwear, and ambulance.

That person on the stretcher reminds me of a woman I saw in Boston last week. She was very obese and in a two piece swimsuit while riding a knee-scooter. Everyone on the block was doing a double take. Yikes.

I've been wanting to make some Indian food for awhile and today stopped by the Indian grocer. Got the stuff common in recipes. Prices were very reasonable. They have a ton of stuff it's a bit overwhelming. One thing that caught my eye was the bulk grains like barley and wheat, for cheap too.

Now you're talkin' ...

Nice. Look forward to your cook.

I just looked and that's basically everything. Asafoetida and mustard seed oil are the only two things we ended up having in addition to what you have there ...

Those prices are crazy low, compared to what I have to pay in town and/or from Amazon - that's awesome!

Lucky to have a large Indian population near me. Dallas these days is more diverse than ever. Great things are happening down here as far as food is concerned. Go check out these kinds of markets Grant, I know florida has em

Yes, we just recently have been bestowed with an Indian mart ...

We've had numerous Mexican grocers for a long time, and have almost always had an Asian/Vietnamese market, and there's been a Middle Eastern/Greek one for a good while, and well the Mennonite places pre-dates me ...

But the Indian spot is new for us ... I'll have to venture out ...
