Serrano Pepper plant not producing flowers

I have a serrano pepper plant that produced a lot last season but this season its only growing like a bush and not producing flowers for the fruit. Anyone know why?

Temps are perfect. I live in So Cal. I have a jalapeno plant right next to it and i have been getting jalapenos for weeks now.

If you are ferting with nitrogen..stop.

My vote goes to you.  My Serrano's were the first to flower.  This was my first year growing them, but they are very fast growers in both of my gardens and in my pots.  And all 3 have very different conditions.  So it wouldn't be difficult to induce extra foliage with nitrogen.

Mipicante, i stay in Lake Elsinore.

Ok if i over did the nitrogen, how do i recover so they flower?

Dont you think that my Jalapenos would be doing the same thing since they are right next to each other?
