Server can't find THP.

I prolly know the answer to this but, SalsaLady hasn't been able to access THP for a couple days.
She's tried Firefox, and all the other browsers, and no go.
She can go virtually anywhere else on the interwebz, including our little local forum,
Just not THP. She has been on the phone with our ISP, and of course, they're scratching their heads.

Even tho we have the same ISP, our wireless radios don't look at the same towers, so I am able to come on here just fine. Very bazaar that it's ONLY THP that she can't access.

Can you push your EASY Button boss?

Its not a server problem.

Had it happen before to me too but not with THP.

Clear cookies, do updates, and then reboot.

If that doesn't work she should go into internet settings and restore to default settings and then reboot.

If that doesn't work, she should then begin drinking heavily.

"Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage".

That is what comes up when trying to access THP.
She has tried Chrome, Firefox, Mozilla and Explorer, and they all say the same thing.

AND she has tried on all five of their computers and Crackberry.
They have tried resetting like you've suggested TB, and even reset the radio thingy.
When she went into town, her tablet worked on some free Wi-Fi.

So, it must be the ISP's Texas Creek radio tower that is on the fritz with THP only?

I think I may take your third suggestion TB.

Try to flush the DNS from the command prompt.

Start > Run. Type cmd. Now at command prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns

Try that.

I don't think she caught it IF SHE CAN'T ACCESS THE SITE! You're supposed to help her. ;)

HA! She was going to the big chity today, and said she would look for this thread on some Free wifi.
I hope they didn't get stuck on the pass at 5180 ft. with 100% chance of snow.
I'll be hearing from her no matter what.

I'm helpin massah!

IF she's using windows 7, she will need to run command prompt as an administrator!

Click the windows icon/start button, and in the search box at the bottom type cmd.exe, then the icon that comes up in the box above, right click on cmd.exe and then left click on "run as administrator".

With out the elevation - under windows 7, you won't be able to do anything of substance from the command prompt.

So here's the latest.

She cannot access, THP or Street Eateries.
We were thinking it may be a domain type thing, so she went to a couple Brooklyn NY area forums, and she could access them just fine.

???

Did she flush her DNS yet?

It's the only solution if her DNS is pointing to the wrong IP.

I'm down at the corner store, they have a different ISP and Here I Am!

Did the flush, rebooted the computers, hubby spent a good amount of time on his 2 towers, and still can't access THP. His Crackberry can find THP when using the phone route, but not when it's linked to our house wireless signal.

Wouldn't the flush only clean that one computer? We did flush the laptop (wireless) and one of the towers. Why do all 5 of our 'puters (3 are wired directly into the router, 2 are wireless) not go to THP?

I think it's time to do TB's suggestion #3.

Do you have a new firewall or something SL?

Send me your IP, and the EXACT error message you get in a browser, and that browser.

no, nothing new.

We tried google, google chrome, and firefox, and they all post some version of "OOPS! Google can't locate that webpage" "Windows Explorer can't find that webpage".

Boss, PM me your email and I'll go home and send you a screenshot or something. That's the only way I can communicate.

Oh, I had Scovie send me a PM, and I got the email notification. At home I couldn't use the email link to get back to THP, here at the store, the link works.

Sounds like your IP may be blocked by the server.
If it's a dynamic IP you can release it and renew. If it's a static IP you will probably have to call your ISP to get it changed, but would have thought they have already tried that if you've already been working with them.

IP sent-

'kay, I'm heading home. May not see y'all until tomorrow, but maybe something will clear.
Thanks for the suggestions--
