I did try to check the pipeline also to see if I was blocked and nothing showed up. I was seriously hoping I didn't DP something so bad to get myself banned!!! Maybe that whitelist was the trick. Dunno, but Thanks, Dan!!!!
It happened before with CJ/Scovie and us and then it miraculously remedied itself.

weird.... an easy fix for next time (may it not be needed) is rebooting your router/cablemodem/dslmodem/whatever.
this would force it to draw a new ip address.
just make sure the power is off to the device for at least 30 seconds...

We unplugged/rebooted the router,flushed the dsl's,updated, scanned, disengaged the virus software......scanned, re-booted, went to the country store that had wi-fi. ....
aw, what the heck.....whatever it was....(i really would like to know if it comes out, and Salsadude would like to know) But I am not an uber-techy. As long as I'm back, i'm happy~

I think their biggest issue was that it was a windy day up in Twisp, and the string between the two cans that is their internet got blown around a bit and slackened. When that happens, they get this error.
I had this exact same problem off and on for the better part of a year. I tried everything suggested here too and it didn't matter. It was sometimes doing it from one page to the next. A half hour later everything would work. I have never been so frustrated. Luckily it has not happened to me for a long time now. If anyone ever figures this out. Post it here in case it happens to me or someone else again.
