plant-care Shade Loving Chinenses?

I've been told some (all?) chinenses prefer some shade. Which ones prefer the most shade? How many hours of shade compared to sunlight?

I have had good luck with all my chilis under full morning sun / afternoons of broken shade from tall trees.

Here where I live,the sun is so hot you don't have a choice but to have shade netting..its gets up to 42 degrees celcius here!

My plants get sun from about 10 to about 5. They're doing better than my potted plants which get 10 hours sun. Its too hot here to have consistent full sun. Morning sun is best imo not as brutal as afternoon and mid day sun. Im growing bhuts 7 pots and a couple other supers.

I live at 7000 feet elevation, sun gets pretty intense during the summer, my plants get shade later in the day and do just fine.  Later in the summer they get more shade early in the morning.   Wish i had a longer gardening season.
