I have 2 plants, but this smaller one has been growing weird leaves.  It's an MOA Red Scotch Bonnet.  I've been meaning to throw it away, but 
somehow haven't yet.  What you all think?  Trash it?

Would you trash your baby just because it came out "weird"?!

If you do not want it, give it to someone who does or plant it somewhere else. But do not trash it.

I would keep it, Linda. As long as it has a good growth speed I wouldn't worry, if the other leave sets are still twisted then perhaps rethink. Seen it before and they grew out of it at a later stage :)
 
Keep it!  This may be a very unique variety with traits you would be a hero for discovering.  Might be the hottest or most flavorful or most amazing shaped peppers ever.  The runts usually have a lot of positive results.
 
I did a few (20 or so) SBs last year, and most of them had funky leaves like that, until I topped them. Unfortunately, the deer topped them also.
