I keep using his jalapeño powder in my marinades, and I keep meaning to post a vendor feedback thinggie for him & I keep forgetting to.
For the game today I've got 2 tritips marinating in a homemade Teryaki.
I find the simpler the better with Teryaki, so I try to limit it to 5-6 ingredients. In the case of today, that's soy, red wine, Coleman's dry mustard, rice wine vinegar, fresh garlic & about two heaping tablespoons of Sic's jalapeño powder. Gallon freezer bag for the last 3 hours & it's lookin good.
It's like throwing the essence of 10 jalapeños into the marinade, and I'm talking flavor, not heat. It's got some kick - but the taste is off the charts.
Thanks for the great powders Sicman! Fast shipping too.
