Hi all!

Although I'm pretty old around here, this will be the first Glog.

I have been growing peppers on the balcony since 2014. Last year I switched everything to hydroponics and I am very happy with it.

Looks like an interesting genetic trait showing
up in the Tepin cross. Have you noticed any
differences between the sprouts with one coty-
ledon and the normal ones? Growth, production,
etc?
 
I must seem like I have a lot of questions but just trying to wrap my head around your system.  Is it basically like a dutch bucket system?  I've seen that system use nothing but perlite as the media and then fertigate two or three times per day.  
Either way, it's interesting.

You are getting great germination rates!
 
Are those mold hairs on the dead sprout?
Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't get into the
rest of your seedlings.
 
Right next to the purple section of the stem,
there are little black threads - they look like mold. 
 
At first, I thought it might be 'damping off' usually
caused by too much surface moisture on the soil,
causing the stem to turn dark and fall over. But
with your system, I 'm not sure that's what it is. If
the soil level was where the sharp bend in the stem
is, then it could very well be damping off.
 
The thin part of the stem was about 0.5" above.
 
I realized that I still had the heating mat on and the LED lights on. These are very hot. I turned off the heating mat and opened the tent for ventilation. I hope it doesn't happen in other seedlings.

Getting the warm humidity out of
the tent will help.

Things started to calm down.
 
The first true leaves appeared in the oldest.
The germination rate of ~ 80% is very satisfactory for me.
