ive got build a box around it with some emergence blankets for reflectivity as there will be no weight to the box it can be made light weight

ill be updating as things happen & thats if any thing does happen

Looking great, lot of success going on there! As for the purple, everybody says no big deal. I just experienced some of it after bumping my lights up to 24-hr schedule. (It only affected my Trinidad Scorp Reds, though.) Why risk it, so I chickened out and backed down to 18-6. There's now some new lush green growth now coming on the next set of leaves, kind of like the plant stored up a bunch of energy and it is now accelerating.

Thanks,I am only keeping my light on for about 14hrs a day at the moment as when it got dark outside my bedroom was giving off a strange glow through the curtains and I didn't want anybody to notice so I've kept the lights down to 14hrs but now I've built my little grow area i can increase to about 16hrs a day.

I hope my burst into life soon,I can also see alot of bright green shoots on my purple leaf plants, nice to hear your grow is going well for you :)

I was thinking about starting to feed the plants some fertiliser but I'm not sure if it's to early for this or not?

Still lookin good, Slater! It's always tough to advise about ferts. But the mix you used has some in there already, your plants are looking happy. If it was me, I'd also be happy--and do nothing, but add water when needed. It might be awhile before they run out of steam, maybe around the next pot up. Keep an eye out and Good luck...

Nice arrays of seedlings, slater! Awesome germ rates, as well.
Enjoyed your pix a lot - keep 'em coming!

+1 on not fertilizing right now; to me, better to under shoot and correct
later than overdose then deal with the results of that.

Cheers paul for your kind words,I've not really had any problems as of yet with my plants so I will just be leaving them alone for now and then hopefully they will just keep growing great

I can't really think of anything else to write about in my glog so I'll just keep on updating with pictures for now

+1 what PaulG said, keep the pix rolling! I check pix a lot to compare start times and progress to see how my growing stacks up. Everybody loves pictures around here! That Red Hab is really looking fine--king of the Slater domain.

Hey, if you get a chance, do me a favor and post a close-up mug shot of one of your Congo Trinidad. I think Gary (the windchicken) would get a kick to see how his Loosiana peppas are faring in sunny old England....

Thanks Siliman,as requested ive taken some pictures of the Congo Trinidad plants (grown from the seeds you sent me)

Thanks for the Congo pix. Will be interesting to see how ours all compare down the road. Gary (Windchicken) sent me the pods, you got some of those seeds. I think PIC 1 is also growing some.

For the Siling Labuyo, they look spot on. They tend to grow tall and spindly, from the little bit I was able to observe last year. You might consider pinching one of them to make it more bushy, to compare.

Thanks again! Your plants look better at every take....

It will be good to see how they compare later on in the year, but with the crap British weather I don't think I'll be in your league :(

I think I will pinch one of them and see how they do compared against each other.
