chillilover Jun 27, 2010 #1 My plants have been getting munched and I wondered what would cause this type of damage?
Silver_Surfer Jun 27, 2010 #2 The holes could be a slug, but the edge eaters are most likely a worm or possibly a beetle. I'd spray with Spinosad and let it sort it out for you. I like to mix it with a spreader sticker; gives you more bang for your buck.

chillilover Jul 5, 2010 #3 It's weird I see no slugs or trails. Look at the damage now. Some holes almost look like hail damage but we've had none.

Silver_Surfer Jul 5, 2010 #4 Slugs are nocturnal, but your damage looks like some type of beetle is making a salad snack out of your plants. Sprayed your plants with anything yet?

gardenkiller Jul 6, 2010 #6 Exact same issues with mine this year. EARWIGS! Kill em all and fast, they caused a small disease outbreak with a few of my plants, thank goodness they only killed three before I found them.
