Well, thanks to WickedMoJo who got me hooked on his smoked bhut powder last season, I have questions on how to make some of my own.
Since last year I have 4 healthy Ghost plants and a new vertical smoker.
I am only a couple days away from my first Bhut Jalokia harvest of the season, which I expect to be around 25-30 pods.
My questions are...
1. should they be dried whole, or split in half.
2. should they be smoked for the entire drying process( approximate time and temp?)
3. should they be partially dehydrated first then smoked or visa versa ?(time and temp?)
4. And finally,if I smoke other varieties of pods (ie. Aji Limon) along with the Bhut's and then store both varieties of dried pods/flakes in the same container, does any of the Bhut's heat get transferred to the other variety?
Thanks for your input.
