Winning a scovie with one of your products is great for yourself it lets you know that your work is appreciated and gives you confidence.

As for your company it's a great marketing tool just to say you've won not quite sure how much it affects your business as for helping sales as there are a bunch of categories and a lot of winners we won in the habanero hot sauce category but we entered 3 different categories with 1 win a 2nd in caribbean & a non mention in fruit based hot sauce so if that's important enter more then just 1 category that fits your product

Interesting.

I was under the impression that if you applied for a category that wasn't right that they'd move you.

Anyway, it's all moot this year, we're not going to enter. Too many big irons in the fire.

I suppose the boss is a little headshy after the last entry. THEY didn't even send an email or anything to tell us that they'd even received our entry.

Ah well, there's always next year.
