I've had store bought pepino before. It was disgusting. Maybe home grown would taste better.

I was gonna say that looks like pepino. For some reason I never learned the botanical name. Tried growing it a few times but the damn thing seems to be a host for frantic broad mite orgies. Have managed to control the bastages through the use of predator mites, but stick a pepino in and watch everything come undone...
 
Hope you don't have broad mite lurking around anywhere, John!

How old is that plant? I've read that it can take about a year to get fruit.

Haha yeah, you'd know by now anyway with all your chillies and other solanaceae. The bastages sure do love themselves some solanaceae.

Finally seeing fruit develop on the muricatum after shit tons of rain and the subsequent flower drop you would expect from most solanaceae
