container-growing Some Habanero questions

So my Habanero plants that I'm growing in my apartment -I got some questions, I cant find any answers to. When my plant started to fruit, I got 1 normal size pepper that the outside started out as green then it got bigger and a shiny green color before changing over to yellow and then orange. My other 2 peppers- one is small and not even a 1/2 long the other pepper is maybe 1 inch long and it is a dull green color. I'm guessing my normal size pepper will be fully ripe by August 10. The other 2-who knows. Is this normal? Remember I started growing peppers last year, and never had any success until I bought my seeds from Home Depot and planted them myself earlier this year. Do they all grow the same size? What would cause the stunted growth?

It's not uncommon that some of the earliest fruit won't develop properly and may even be parthenocarpic, particularly with certain varieties. I see this a lot with some jalapeno types, in particular when they flower while the plant is younger and still getting established. When I get the small off-color early fruit I typically just pick them off to make way for new proper ones.

Would the small pepper ever have turned orange at any point? Do I just cut it or remove it by lifting up on the stem? It has not gotten any bigger.

In the beginning they might have some trouble keeping all the peppers and some will develop poorly.
Maintain the plant health and the following fruit will be more rewarding and plentiful.
Good start
Good luck on your pepper growing.

Let us know how's it going

Todays pics- Kellogg tomato which is there but no progress, Habanero plant which produced above pepper. and on the windowsill is my Carolina Reaper I got from a guy at work.

My above Habanero plant was the one that had the suspected nutrient burn a few months ago. After changing the soil, I let it be and cut a bunch of leaves off that were not looking good. It was basically a stem but the leaves grew back and it is producing flowers. It produced the above pepper and has another one that hopefully will change colors.

I think you should take the Bell pepper plant to your Mom's house.
I think they will need more space.
They might not be as productive .
You can also prune the plant to keep it smaller, but it will take long to produce peppers and they will be smaller.
I don't grow Bell peppers, but other people might have information about them.
Do you know the variety of the Bell pepper, any pics?
