Spicegeist 2020

Hello friends, acquaintances, and strangers! I didn't grow much this past season, just a couple of plants to tide me over. This year I'm doing a small grow to continue a few things I'd like to keep going. Much of the seed I'm attempting to germinate is a bit old, so I'm starting some now to see how it goes. I put them in the grow medium on Nov 18 and my first two hooks came up today on Nov 25 - not bad!

Thanks guys. Purple Thunder looks like it's part Pink Tiger, I didn't read through the description though. I was on the fence with whether or not to grow my Pink Tiger, but opted not to. I'll pass on the offer for now, but thanks!

I am starting early, but mostly to check seed viability and to adjust later if I have to. I also just like starting seeds to pass the time.

My Precious is what I nicknamed the primary bhut cross I've been working on for a few seasons. Here's a pic from when I last grew these Aug 2018:

So glad to see you back Charles! You still hold some of the best bhut genetics on THP.
In the past season i've sowed some of your (old!) seeds. I had no luck with Impact seeds but i've successfully grown an amazing Red Bhut:

Best of luck for 2020! It's a lovely list :D

Thanks for the compliment! I really liked the Impact Bhut, I have a few coming up now. If I don't mess things up, I should have some replenished seed stock to share after the season.

Those My Precious pods are absolutely picture perfect,
Charles. Amazing color and shape. Nice work.

If you decide you want some Purple Thunder next season
I will have the next generation after 2020 season! It is a
BJ red x (PdN x Bonda), the latter being Tripp's cross
started in 2014 - it's now called Trippaul Threat and in
F8 generation. The Purple Thunder is in the F3 generation.

This is your f1 cross from the peach ghost x peach bhut pods you sent me many years ago. Best tasting super hot I’ve ever grown. 4 plants all had the same shapes exactly with great production, will be planting seeds again for next season. Already passed it out to a few people. Space X lives!

Lol, yeah Peach X. I’m happy you grew that out - sounds like a winner. It was a Peach Bhut x Peach Scorpion F1 cross, or the other way around, either way that’s in the mix.

4. Red Bhut 1 & 2 (2017)
5. Mutant Bhut (2016)
6. Guwahati Bhut 5 (2016)
7. Assam x Red Bhut (2018)

What has not germinated so far: Guwahati Bhuts from 2014, Brain Strain from 2013, 7 Pod Moruga from 2015, and a Galapa cross from 2018.

I've decided to try a little experiment this year. I'd like to find out if I could grow these with 100% natural light, have them survive, and get them get big enough to give me fruit in the summer. Here's how they look after potting them up today.
