Nope! I drizzled in olive oil before I popped it under the broiler... blackened the peppers and garlic... took them off then returned the tomatoes in for a bit longer... took them out and allowed them to cool.... all I had to do was pick them up and they slid right out of their skins.... I never use tomatoes with skins in any of my salsa.... this recipe came from a Mexican friend... easy... I think the vinegar or lime juice would take away from the roasty flavor I try to create...That looks f**king awesome!
