Spicy Tomatoes?

The Thought Emporium made a rather large live stream well over a year ago on this topic.
 
He designed a plasmid that could theoretically make tomatoes spicy by adding a couple genes that turn Vanillin into Capsaicin.
 
What do you guys think about it? Is it cool or an abomination of nature

What they dont give a "F" about is that people have allergies and theirs no warning labels on the modified stuff.

Well in the nineties I believe they were going to introduce Fish DNA into tomatoes so they travel better, dont know if it did or did not happen, some people have problems with fish.
Used to be able to eat Oats, but now Im allergic to them, what happened ?? etc..

Spicy tomatoes are complete foolishness!
 
What we really need it for these guys to figure out how to breed chickens with 4, 6 or 8 wings.
 
Bonus points if the chickens excrete barbecue sauce through their glands!
