Squat or Tall nursery pot?

I'm wondering what peoples thoughts are on 7 gallon nursery tall pots vs 7 gallon squat pots. Is there one that is more advantageous for peppers? Thanks in advance.

Tall is always good. Think about the top space where roots don't grow, and if it's wider, that's even more space they don't grow. Although 7 gallon is big no matter what so I'm not sure how much it would affect you. If you said 3 gallon I'd say tall for sure.

If you're planting in them for growing outside I'd suggest the squat pots. The taller ones will be more likely to blow over after the plants get tall.
