sterilization of spices

I am looking at making my own spice and growing the peppers for the spice. Dose anyone know about sterilization of spices and dose it make the spice lose flavor?
 
Irradiation works incredibly if you have the equipment or access to it. Are you talking dry spices or are you making sauces?
 
Peroxide will do it, a cap full of bleach per gallon of water will sterilize your veggies, Never had a problem using a dehydrator, never got sick from dehydrated fruit or veggies.....
 
Thanks. I am looking at putting it on the market so I need to meet the California food standards. So trying to find a process that will please them.
