breeding Strange Sprout - Bhut Indian Carbon x Yellow 7 cross

I kinda figured. Seems to be ok for now. Must be some genetic defect.

Found a thread with some similar seedlings.

Unfortunately, the results were never posted. I may try giving it some epsom, see if it helps. I don't need the plant but it can be a fun experiment.
 
hahaha-the funny part -when I saw the comment this morning I thought you were talkin about a pod!!!I had several do this after removing the "helmet" manually,
they greened right up.
 
Just a quick update to say removing the helmet did nothing. This guy was genetically defective. Never greened up and died.
 
I had a 7 Pod White seedling look like that this year. I grew up until the third set of true leaves before it was trashed... it was behind the others and it never really grew over two inches.. looked more like a head of bright yellowish butterhead letteuce than anything.
