sun Sun Bathing?

Thru the window screen. This a proper way too harden off plants?

Lights come on at 6 am, I move them to this window at about 1:30 till 7. Removed the screen for a better picture. They seem to be enjoying it!

Hardening off is not just about sun exposure. You have wind, humidity, temperature, et ectera, for them to slowly acclimate to. 
 
*edit: Sorry I misread your post. I think your approach is good. Just make sure you're not going from your indoor light setup straight into hours of direct sunlight. Make it very incremental.

reminds me of when my ma used to put the pie on the window sill, only peppers is better
