Walmart $19.95 cold mist humidifier
It has a rotating spinner which sprays drops.
Plug the outlet with plant pot and let roots drop inside.
Add liquid fertilizer.
The same unit may be modified for cuttings.

Paper towel rooter:
We heard of putting seeds in paper towels but how about stems?
Fold paper towel or use a stack of napkins. Stand on sides so the stem may go in between napkins.
Lightly wet them before stacking.
Place in plastic bag and leave partially open.

Yes or take the sprayer out of the mister and rig it into a DWC-Aeroponic hybrid.
It stands out as a possibility because the revolving sprayer in high end units costs about $100

If just leaving the roots in water with an airpump is almost as good as having half the roots out of the water in air being sprayed all the time or periodically then there is no need.

If not then it is mandatory to check into because it would be a revolution in low cost aeroponics.
Micro drops designed in diameter to evaporate before they hit the floor is the idea behind the output of the device.

The most funny is to put the plant directly into the side where the droplets come out.

A strange, impractical version could shoot the droplets into a tube with the roots and the water could be recycled back to the top.

Ideally the cool mist devices would be reviewed for their internal parts applicability to making something better than DWC easily and cheaply.

Why not use an old 5-gallon bucket, an air stone and pump. Counting the hydroton, net basket and hose it might cost $10.

I mix up my own solution - a tablespoon of Azalea/Rose Bush fert (30-10-10) in a quart of water and add three tablespoons daily - plus 1/4 teaspoon of pH Up.

Thats what I say then the hardcore aeroponic guys say that the little drops from the bubbles are not the same because they only get 3-4 inches high lol. Thanks for the fertilizer tip!
