plant-care Super new to this...

So this is my first time growing peppers and I know I am already a bit behind on timing and it is super hot all of a sudden here in Colorado (102 today!) I took a couple pictures of my peppers and mostly curious about the closeup of one of them. I am assuming the dark places around the "bud stems" and the brown color of what would be the flowers is due to it being too hot? Would that be accurate?

It's a normal pigmentation that shows up at those locations in some varieties (anthocyanin). The intense sun might make it show up even darker than usual.
