annuum Super Serrano or Mini Serrano (Updated Pod Pics)?

I picked up these two "Super Serranos" on impulse today. I was going to skip serranos this year, but I couldn't resist these good looking plants already forming pods. They were grown by a local nursery. Has anyone heard of "Super Serrano" before? I couldn't find any information, nor did the employee know if there were different then regular serranos. Perhaps it's just a marketing thing. This season will tell.

2 for $9.99. Not exactly cheap, but they are in gallon pots and already about 2 feet tall. I'll be picking pods soon. I may pair them up together in a 10 gallon pot.

Yes, I'll either put two in a 10+gallon pot like those in the picture behind the plants. Or, I may try to pick up two more and put 4 into a larger half whiskey barrel type pot.

Yeah, the picture does look a bit like cayenne although mine tend to be a bit skinnier and curved. It may be a stock "pepper" photo as it came from a smaller nursery. We'll see!
 
Those look good, i cant help myself either when i see pepper plants i have to see if there are any that "need a good home" haha
 
These two plants are growing well and putting out tons of pods. The only problem is they stay miniature up to the point of ripening (see photo). I know plants often set a few little pods early in the season, but not to this magnitude. I picked about half of them today, and plan to get the rest soon. My hope is this frees up the plants resources to set larger pods. If that doesn't work, I may have a Serrano x Tepin on my hands!

Man, those are a far cry from both the description ("serrano") and the Zamzows photo.  Doesn't mean they won't be good or useful, of course. 
 
I expect those little fatty pods will be brimming with seeds.  Please give us a taste-test report when you can.

Strangely, they are juicy and almost seed-free at this point. Heat is slightly milder than a typical serrano. One of the reasons I stopped growing serranos in the past is that they tend to be packed with seeds. I'm starting to think they might be a cross . . . time will tell.
