hot-sauce Support the Troops -- Operation Sauce Drop

This snippet from the website ( http://carolinasauce.stores.yahoo.net/opsadr.html ) pretty much explains it:

"The mission of Operation Sauce Drop is to deliver great-tasting sauces to US military personnel stationed abroad, free of charge. Why are we doing this? Because we would like to thank our brave troops for their sacrifices with a small token of our appreciation, and perhaps a taste of home. "

Here are some blog articles talking about the program:

If you can help, please help. If you can't contribute financially, you can at least help spread the word. And if you know someone who is active duty military stationed abroad and would like some zest added to their mess hall fare, point them towards this site for their free gift.

GG, first off, welcome to the forum. Thanks especially for the links on the care packages for our boys. While we all disagree on the politics of it, we certainly agree that our fathers and son's and daughters in the US Armed Forces deserve more than what we can muster. Thank you for your reminder of our brothers and sisters overseas and the little thang's we can do to show our support that mean so very much to them. Cheers. TB

The word has been spread. We've done a post that will appear on our blog this morning.

Damn fine idea. Good for them for making it happen.
