How far from the seedlings are fluoros supposed to be? I've been told 1-2" above to prevent the seedling from becoming leggy. As they grow, do you gradually move the lights further away, i.e., 4-5-7" away?
Yes, 1-2" is good, especially for the first couple of months. When the plants get bigger, and have a nice compact growth pattern, I usually raise the lights up further away from the plants just because I run out of room directly under the lights.
