The reason I mentioned I was looking for an annuum is that I need it for a cross with another annuum. Do any of you have experience with crossing an annuum with a chinense?

It doesn't matter if they ripen to red. The problem here is that the peppers get sunburnt before they mature, which makes them turn color before they are ready for it. I know because they all start to change color starting from the point where they got burnt. It's not great for the eventual taste of the pepper. I thought the white color might prevent that from happening.

ETA: That White Fire pepper looks great, Masher. Where did you find it? Edit: It seems it's an F1 cross on itself so maybe I should look into the other one instead?
