hot-sauce Tastiest Hot Sauce on the Planet...Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce

Sriracha is just bursting with taste. I think it's the Garlic and the delicious Chiles they use.
In Hawaii and many of the Carribean Islands it is THE Hot Sauce of choice.
It's popular in the USA but more so by Region.
I just like the basics...my other Fave is good old Tabasco. I know you can say it's water-y or lacks substance...but Man that thing with fermenting in Oak Barrels on Avery Island just gives it a Gourmet Pop to me.
If I want substance, I make my own and eat it with a spoon.
I have no affiliation with either Company. Sriracha is made by www.huyfong.com and I'm sure is available all over the Internet.

lots of others out there. And "Dave's" is not the "Ultimate" hot sauce, in my opinion. Sounds like you like a certain type of hot sauce flavor, that of Sriracha. Everyone has their favorites, and that's what makes the wonderful world of food so....sooo.....WONDERFUL!

Just curious, what does your hot sauce shelf look like? How many bottles do you have open in the refer/on the table?

i can never have a favorite. i always find something better or something that suits a certain cuisine or dish. =D

Yeah that sauce is nice one of the first sauces that got me into the heat in fact.

Here is the one I have. its produced by www.lingham.com

i'm more familiar with this one:

Liking tobasco sauce is a big sin around here  Actually anything extremely vinegary is usually frowned upon here.
I like Srirachi, especially the rooster brand although I find it more of a garlic sauce than a real hot sauce

Sriracha is good and I find it quite complimentary to a turkey sandwich. I used to make use of my Tabasco in every MRE I ate, especially if I ended up with the dreaded ham slice. However, if I had to decide on a favorite (tastiest) mass produced, widely available hot sauce I'd go with Frank's.

Until I came here I thought there was only onw Sriracha. I just bought Roland brand. I like it on mixed vegetables, rice and turkey burgers so far.

Hey SalsaLady,
There are 14 bottles opened on that shelf of the Fridge....different flavors for different meals.

pepperjoe,
that's a good working number. Just wanted to know if you were locked into only one brand. There's been a thread here a while back about "how many bottles in the fridge" and many had over 50.

I bought my first bottle of Sriracha some months ago because I used it in a restaurant to spice up my plate and liked it. Then soon after, we had the Pacific Northwest Chilehead Party and I was introduced to alot of other sauces that I loved so much, the Siraracha bottle hasn't been touched since. I have been thinking about how I can add to the heat and neutralize the vinegar to make it better. It will not go to waste.

I don't see anything wrong with liking Tabasco. In fact, it remains one of my all-time favorites.

Everyone has different tastes and are certainly entitled to them.

I'd rather have the burn in my mouth from the chile peppers than in my nostrils from the vinegar.

Well, that's an American version. Sriracha is a style of Thai table sauce, not a name brand. Try Grand Mountain brand for the real thing.

love to make my own sriracha - if i run out i always have a bottle of rooster (huy fong) in the fridge. going to try to find the grand mountain brand.

Not a huge fan of Tabasco but as far as watery, vinegary sauces go, I easily go through a bottle or two of Cholula a week. I don't care that it's not hot... it tastes so damn good!
