I was watching a good old Quebecois's cartoon named "Mouches Noires" http://www.nfb.ca/film/mouches_noires/ (great cartoon, watch it ! love it and love the song), when I realised it's a song written by Wade Hemsworth in 1949 :
Has he wrote any other song ?
By the way I remember being bitten once by a black fly when I was 10 years old fly fishing salmon in Canada. Are they that common ? Are they that bad ? (I remember it hurt, but I was 10)
