This interesting and great looking pod was sent to me by Romy6. Thanks Jamie, you`re the best!
 
This pods ripens to a green/mustard colour, which is very uncommon and very cool. The initial aroma is very strong and very Bhut-like. Given the plant was from a Jays Ghost Scorpion seed, that isn`t a big shock, but I didn`t detect any Scorpion-like aromas. 
 
The flavor was similar to the green/mustard Bhut Jolokia, fresh, slightly sharp, without much sweetness. The Bhut flavor was very prominent up front, but faded to leave a distinct Scorpion-like flavor, possibly even a little 7-pot flavor, too. The final flavors were very grassy, which was a really nice finish.
 
The heat was fairly slow to ramp up, as is the case for most Bhuts/Bhut hybrids, in my experience. But ramp up it did and the heat came on strong. I found the heat to be good, but the pod was more painful than hot. Maybe 500-600K SHU, but much more painful than you`d expect for that level of heat. 
 
This is the best tasting Green/Mustard variety I`ve tried so far.

Hard to say exactly. It started life as a Ghost Scorpion, but may have something else crossed in. Or it may not and just be a freakish green version!

That needs to be tested. Did it have anything similar to other pods that you've had before that normal ghost scorps didn't?

How would you test it? DNA tests are difficult to get done properly and more difficult to use to get an answer. 
 
There was possibly some 7-pot flavor, but sometimes that goes with Scorpions, too. My palate isn`t good enough to suggest an answer in this case, especially as it tasted "green" not surprisingly. I do not know if the grower who produced this seed was growing the 7-pot evergreen, green bhut or green scorpion, none of which wouldn`t really show up in the flavours much. 
 
All I can say is that it`s a really great new variety well worth keeping going.

Hotter, better defined flavours. The TS Mustard is fine, but the flavors are a little dull and lifeless by comparison.
 
I don't know about the Ts mustard but Jamie sent me a bunch of these earlier this year and they were awesome! The best tasting green peppers I've ever eaten! They were crisp, light, sweet, delicious and w/ a decent amount of heat not a superhot by any means but lots of flavor! Will definitely grow these out next season mother nature willing!
