I find that lettuce grows all year round at my place...

In that time we can have highs of 40C consistently and lows of 0C.

only rarely freezes though...
 
What is your favorite type of lettuce? Not a type that forms heads though since I want to grow it in a hydro system. What type are those in the pics cmp?
 
The last picture is Delfino Cilantro on top and garlic on bottom.

Lettuce is usually good here until early November. They survived two to three decent frosts. A major cold spell (i.e, 20degrees) will permanently wipe them out. They only survive frost when mature.

I enjoy a mix called Centurian Romaine which has 12-14 different types. I have grown endless lettuce varieties. Hyper Red Ruffle is another favorite. I didn't grow anything too rare this year. I've got lots of weird ones. :D
