food-bev The "Oven" Pot Roast is ready!

I made this pot roast using my Cast Iron Dutch oven  initially seared the seasoned roast(S&P/Flour), post searing remove meat, Sauté the onion,then deglazed the Dutch oven with red wine. Added beef broth, garlic, thyme sprigs, bay leaves, rosemary sprig, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.Cover & braise in oven till meat is  tender,
~1.5 hrs,add carrots,U can also add potatoes @this time,making it a one pot meal.....then con't cooking for
 ~1-1.5hrs and you'll end up with this. I made some mashed pot & rice...some folks prefer rice..Tasty & Tender!
