Looks like trouble. In ground, or potted?

Looking good Matt!   The grow tower is awesome!
Looks like a busy season for you!  Nutting' like growin'
in the PNW!

Finally have all 32 of my first round in two-liter and 2.6-liter pots.
How to squeeze a grow into a garage:

Yes, the plan was to grow way more then I could physically plant in the garden anticipating die off to thin the crop. Haven't lost much so far... Gonna have to have a great pepper starter giveaway.

Thanks Paul, Healthy looking plants you have there. Some look so mature, how early did you start those monsters or are they Over Winters?

Plants are quickly exceeding my lighting capacity so I ordered another 600 watt HPS for the greenhouse. Have 65 peppers transplanted to 6" pots now and a bunch ready for transplant. The tomatoes are now 2' to 3' tall and flowering like crazy. The Yellow Fatalii from last season is still growing, flowering and producing peppers. It's on the far right in the big pic and the close up shows a cluster of the 1" to 3" peppers.

All from seeds that went into Jiffy Pellets on Jan. 1, 2017.
Most germinated between 1/9 and 1/15.

Your saying those plants that are a foot tall are a month or so old?!

Well, The oldest hooked on 1/9, and the youngest on 1/26.
That makes the oldest 45 days old - I don't think they are a
foot tall - now I'm curious...going to measure...
Later: Woah, blow me away, today the tallest ones are right
on 12" - Aji Amarillo, Aji Lemon Drop, and F5 cross. Pic taken
on 2/24.

KIller guys, my germ rates have been awful this year. I have 30 or so, hoping more pop soon.
Must be something in the air this season, my germination
rate was dismal, too - around 50%.  Fortunately, I planted
lots of seeds!

What ferts do you guys have planned once they are in the ground? Any plans for possible aphids?
Hey, Jim - what's up, buddy?

After plant-out, I usually fertilize mostly with AK Mor-Bloom
with a light AK Fish Fertilizer supplement.  A good shot of
bone meal goes in each hole when i transplant.   A little Kelp
and Cal-Mag foliar spray rounds out the list.  Not too heavy
on the nitrogen.  Oh, and I water with a B-1 solution to prevent
transplant shock when they go into their final resting places.

As for aphids, alternating Neem Oil concentrate  and Safer
Insecticidal Soap seems to work pretty well.  Usually just
takes one round to knock 'em back.  If you get the jump on
them early, it saves lots of problems later!

I'm moving to Oregon in three weeks. Started growing peppers two years ago and am so glad to see this GLOG!

I might look around for some starts once I move, since it'll be too late for me to plant anything from seed, but next year you can expect to see me in the PNW GLOG.

I'm going to try and bring an overwintered Aji Pineapple and a MOA Scotch Bonnet with me on the drive out, but we'll see if they make the three day trek.

My 24 plants under a 400 watt halide

Aji Lemon Drop
Aji Melocoton
Ajit Jobito
Aji Amarillo
Cracked Jalapeno
Primo
Purple Serano
Lemon Habanero
Red Datil
Red Manzano

...there are more but I can't think of them.

I'm in Grants Pass, the southern end of the State. Where will you be?

I've been curious about the aji jobito, Nigel gave it such a great review.

Only got a few pods last year...they were undersized. It was my fault for stressing them early in the season. The pods were nothing special...tasted like habanero  with no heat. To me, the only thing that make habanero valuable is the heat. So hopefully a healthier plant will yield some pods with the fruity notes the Nigel described
