They are really good. I say dig but really you have to hunt them. Very sly little bastards, if they see your shadow of feel you walking up,they shoot down their holes. They can shoot down 2ft or more faster then you can blink. You have to go at the lowest tides, yesterday and today were the lowest of the month. yes, very similar. They can get tough and chewy if overcooked. Other then grilled I think they make great chowdah,fied clam strips and ceviche.They aso stay on a hook really well.
