I know what one of these plants is, but, the bit I am interested in is whether people think these are the same type or not (and why).

First picture is 7 Pot Brain Strain.
 
Second is Scotch Bonnet (yellow), BUT, it was the only pod like it from the plant....
 
It was far beyond the normal Scotch Bonnet for heat, but, funnily enough, it tasted far more like black pepper than a chilli, and generally horrible. I didn't keep any seed from it, but probably should have just to play around with it over the years.
