The Towering Piquin

As promised, my Piquin plant...keep in mind, I'm 6 foot (maybe 6'2"). The world record hight is 16 feet for this plant. Mine is only 1 year old (5 plants). These pics are from this morning...I'm growing a beard! WooT!

Ya, I happy with the continous out flow of peppers from this big boys.

I have seeds for these if anyone wants to trade or something, they are far enough away from the other peppers that they are not crossed.

Just curious where you found the world record info of 16ft. So much for the rumor that they don't produce well the first year, mine did amazing too.

Guinness World Records. Some chick out in Irvin, CA did it in 1999.

No problem. I sent you three or four dried pods (which will probably be crushed when you receive them, but the seeds will be fine). Be sure to try a seed and skin. It'll give you a SMALL idea of how these peppers are.

When fresh off the plant they are amazing! The are FULL of juice and it squirts in your mouth when you bite them....yoowwwie it's hot!

Wonderful pepper. Just watch out for mockingbirds, they took all the leaves and pods off of mine when I was down in LA this last weekend. On the good side, I now have a hundred of the little plants growing all over my yard now.
