seeds Thermometer germination

I have a probe thermometer stuck in one of the cells of my seed tray to monitor the temperature. Just like last year, I left that cell unplanted and marked it as "Thermometer" on my layout notes. And just like last year, a seed wandered into that cell and is now growing. It could be anything (the adjacent cells are mostly mystery seeds from the Peppermania business card), and obviously I'm going to have to just label the seedling "thermometer" when I pot it out, just like I did last year. (Last year's turned out to be a Fresno.)

This would just be amusing, not annoying, except for the fact that I'm still waiting for some of the varieties to put up their first hooks. As of today, I have a better germination rate with my thermometer than with my chocolate habaneros!
