No, I read it together, but my interpretation was off (it happens.) Since my pepper plants are all first-year plants, I think of my plants as babies. Plus, I think of their pods as babies. So I was applying that kind of perspective to the post, initially thinking he was referring to his pods and/or plants as babies - my mind wasn't where his was at the moment, at all!
Sorry for any confusion ... I call my kids, peppers, dogs etc ... my "babies" ...
And my oldest child (10 yrs) is constantly reminding me she's not a baby ... but she is to me ...
Anyway, as far as the Caribbean Reds ...
